Hi Laura
Just thought you would like to know that I am 70 years young last birthday and had one lung removed when I was 12 years of age.I had no problems, went skiing, travelled around the world and generally had a great life until 5 years ago whenI think old age kicked in. On top of
that I had Bronchiectasis, but managed to leave a pretty full life. Now I am slowing down, but manage to get an hour walk in most days when the weather is fine. Of course I do not have cancer. I now get infections once or twice a year which requires IV antibiotics and all that goes with it.
Maybe this will give some people encouragement.I know it is not really relevant to your
situation.
Good luck.
