I'm only on oxygen when walking or on exertion, but it dried my nose so much I started to have nose bleeds. Doctor prescribed a course of Naseptin and now I use it once in a while, but it's prescription only, so i'll look out for the products you've mentioned, thanks.

Hi

As far as we are aware any cream used by people on oxygen has to be oil free and water based, so this narrows the market down to products such as KY Jelly or shop own brand equivalents.

Oxygen suppliers advise you speaks to your pharmacist before using.

Hi

My husband was prescribed Naseptin Nasal Cream which helped his sore nose. The doctor said to use vaseline when it ran out/

He is on oxygen 24/7 and was getting scabs and nose bleed mostly at night.

It is not a complete answer, he also has a humidifier attached to the oxygen tube.

Most certainly should not use Vaseline as it's based on petroleum. Is your doctor out to blow you up?

HI MY NAME IS RENO, AND I AM ON 6 LITERS OF OXYGEN 24/7, I HAVE STAGE 4 EMPHYSEMA, AND JUST WANTED TO SAY, YOU CAN NOT USE ANYTHING IN YOUR NOSE, UNLESS IT IS WATER BASE. IF YOU USE ANYTHING WITH OIL IN IT, IT WILL CAUSE IT TO BLOW UP, VERY FLAMMABLE, FOR ANYONE USING OXYGEN.
