Hi Jo - Yes all those things we have talked about over the past year are suddenly becoming reality. Today I set up a direct debit to pay some council tax. For the last couple of years I have had full council tax benefit, but unfortunately here in Cornwall that no longer exists and everyone has to pay something. I had a bill for just under £200, not a lot compared to those who pay full whack, but still its £200 less from the annual budget. I am paying it at £19 a month. I figure if I stop buying magazines, and start walking to the supermarket again ( been resorting to taxis) now that the weather is slowly improving I should be ok.
