THE JOYS OF BEING A CATS SLAVE

Cat in the vets now,,Up at 7am,tiddles wants to go out,,now we have only been in this house for about 2 weeks,,So tidds had been kept in till good friday till she got used to the new house..At the back we have a large field surrounded by a 8ft heavy duty fence that belongs to the potato merhant up the road..Her being a female has been getting in the field but cannot get out again,,this results in me looking out the kitchen window every 30mins to see if she is sitting at the fence to get back in the garden..ONLY CAT OWNERS ARE THAT DAFT,,,Then i have to go out lft the bottom of the fence so she can get back in the garden,,she is 21years old so she is a wee bit spoiled..Of out pops tidds this morning,,8am no pussy 10 mins later spot her in middle of field facing of to a huge crow but she is lying down,,give her a call,,she stands up,,then falls over,,,,,sweary word,,,,Grab the steps out the door in dressing gown calling my wife at the same time,,,my self i am 63 severe copd in dressing gown going over 8ft fence by the time she gets to the back door,,,....Ouch barbed wire on the top,,gets over pussy been beaten up by something,,,cant walk not good..Cat basket and steps thrown over fence by tina,, puss handed over the fence..how are you going to get back over she says no worries i will use the steps,,,stand on the steps they sink over a foot...NOT problem will walk around with steps...After fighting my way through all manner of spikey things in my dressing gown arrive in potato merchants yard..GOD KNOWS WHAT THE GUYS IN THE YARD THOUGHT Just before they phoned the police,, i expained that i had not escsped from a nut house and they took me back home in a van....TIDDS is now ensconsed in the vets getting checked out,,xray ect..MYSELF SHOWER PARACETAMOL AND BED ..Will let you know how tidds is later on when vet phs....

Hi id, read your blod with a great deal of understanding and insight having in the past been mum to four lovely cats. I am no stranger to their ways and how they seem to have an uncanny knack of turning EVERYTHING to their advantage. We actually fall over ourselves and at times act like blithering idiots to please them!!! But we love 'em and a deep bond is forever formed between them and us. Do hope that tidds will come out good from the vets and there is no lasting damage. You've done so well in your effort to rescue her..must have took a lot of doing...All the best ~ Lovelight

Oh dear what a terrible day. I hope Tidds is going to be ok, she is a good age at 21 for a cat, your obviously devoted to her. Sounds like the sort of stupid thing I would do for my dogs and cats. Keep us informed please of Tidds progress. Best wishes.

Cats rule the house but we love them. Had a lovely evenjng Sunday petting the cat and eating Easter mini eggs. During the night, I had a mega tummy bug, runs to the loo. So do I blame the cat!
