£200 per household, so if you live on your own or with a partner under 60, you get the full sum; if you live with a partner, who also qualifies, then you only get £100 - partner gets the other £100. Over 80 and you get £300.

If you get a pension, it will be paid automatically, but if you are male and under 65, it is worth making contact with the department.

It is usually paid with pensions around the beginning of December.

You can't get it 60 anymore though. It is nearer 65.

The cold weather payment is subject to receipt of a qualifying benefit, usually pension credit.
