Lots of sad, depressing blogs at the moment and sad things happening and it's really dark here in Shropshire and very damp, really nasty weather and now I'm fed up too. Can't wait for 6pm pre-meal drink (or two or three) with Dennis and an extra big log on the fire.

I've changed the background of my computer screen to be a nice blue sea with blue sky on a sunny day. At least I can look at one window and be cheered up !
Yes, lucky you with the log fire - we only get that luxury when we go to the wife's sister's farmhouse, where they use logs on the fire. Better still, the pub in the village does too!
