Me too !!! Its been dire this year for some reason. I suffer with severe asthma that doesnt respond well to any of the usual medication, and also bronchiectasis. and this summer both damp or rainy days, and the hot days have affected me badly, so you are not alone.

I do think we are affected by the weather, and certainly pollen this year, so i've not been able to get around outside so much, or do much indoors either, because of shortness of breath, wheezing and lack of energy, and this year has been especially bad for me in being unable to clear the gunk in my tubes, like trying to breathe through wet cotton wool.... My nebuliser has never been so busy !

Having said that, if we are right and it is the weather, then there's a good chance that next year will be better for us, so we need to keep positive, just do whatever we can cope with, and take care of ourselves.

Wishing you a healthier and happier time ahead, take care.

xx

Thank you SO much...it was great to get a response- it's such a "relief" ( if you pardon the expression) to hear others are suffering as well. sounds awful. I'm booked for a C.T. scan in Sept, a last resort before they try to up the steroid inhaler. I'm just being 'sensible' ( boring) and not doing very much or going outafter 4pm. Just makes you feel so worn out doesn't it. Anyway-lovely to hear from you, and thanks again....let's hope it'll all pass when the weather changes , and you'll feel re-vitalized too !! best wishes and take care.
