Outstanding achievement 
Fantastic wasn't she! If I heard the commentator correctly, he said her parents were told just after she was born that she had 'glass lung'. She then went on to develop serious asthma and it was her decision take part in sports to exercise her lungs that got her to the point she is at today - Olympic Gold! My eyes were welling up - heaven help me when the Paralympics start - I cry a proverbial river then (happiness and total admiration of course!). P
Thats brilliant...Does show imo that some people will and do use an illness to avoid doing anything physical..I am loving the Olympics..Proud too be a Brit....
