On my last hospital discharge notes they have written irregular ausculation of left upper lobe can anyone tell me what this means as most of the other things did not sound any different to the normal comments.

I know the ausculation bit is related to what is heard through the stethoscope. Perhaps better if you ask your doc to be sure that you don't just understand the term but how it applies to you. Good luck.
