Hi everyone, I have been on Seretide for the last 20yrs using a spacer. My asthma wass out of control so I was given Symbicort 200

( I cannot use my spacer with this one). My pharmacist told me Symbicorrt can also be used with a spacer. Has anyone out there used Symbicort in this form with a spacer? Maximonkey

As far as im aware it's a turbohaler an cannot be used with a spacer.

Hi Maxi, I've been on Symbicort 400/12 for a couple of years now. It cannot be used with a spacer, you need a metered dose inhaler (MDI) for them.
