I've got a wonderful flowering currant bush in full bloom at present, also a gift of the birds. The lilac tree is just coming out too. Love this time of year.

That is so lovely . I have some but not out yet here in NW but i also have Spanish bluebells that ( i herited with the true ones they are bigger and straight stemmed and take over unfortunately

Beautiful, thank you for sharing, Spring is such a wonderful time of year. I just mentioned to my husband today as we were driving along, that there were so many bluebells in the hedgerows, more than there used to be. ❤️

Just got back from an expedition to 2 local bluebell woods, one private (view from road only), the other public-lots of footpaths- walk till you drop. xxxx

Beautiful colours. Last time I went to our local wood they were just appearing, but the paths are so muddy this year. Hoping to go back early this week - I'll avoid the weekend, because it'll be full of families. Not because I don't like them, I just don't want them in my picture! I'll hopefully be taking my grandson there when he comes over from France in about 10 days anyway.
