Life Insurance

Hi all

I've been trying to get life insurance and have been speaking to a broker for many years but no one will insure me as I've needed many courses of antibiotics over the years and will shortly be moving onto a prophylaxis to manage exacerbations of Bronchiectasis.

I'd be keen to hear if anyone else has managed to get cover and if so, who with?! Thanks so much xx

If you find one let me know...ive had cover declined and even when applying for cover been told we can't help you (never actually got as far as the first phone call)

Having said that I have got some life cover in place from before all the various diagnoses

But I can't even get travel insurance now never mind life insurance

I trawled through many companies and comparison sites and was finally offered life insurance through a company called The Exeter. I have COPD, osteoporosis and high blood pressure and this was the only company that picked the barge pole up!

It’s not cheap; I pay £70 a month but have enough cover to leave for my daughters to be getting along with and to give me peace of mind.

I’ve actually been recommended The Exeter by someone living with type 1 diabetes so I will give them a try thank you!

The more illnesses we get it's get impossible to get insurance I've got 3 life insurances had them for 20 years plus they only go up till I'm 90 years and that is life cover but I' got mine when I was in excellent health were as now probly wouldn't get any
