Aww! I used to have a collie dog that smiled at people. My friends Sister came in once and she was terrified of him and he was the most friendly dog you would ever meet. Xx

I worry about them now because my skin is so thin. My Sons dog jumped up on me and ripped my hand. It wouldn’t even mark anybody else. I just feel I want to give animals a big hug but can’t risk it. I was bit in the face by a dog once and I was very nervous for a while but I still love them. I didn’t do anything to the dog. He jumped up and bit my face. I just told the owner to keep him at home. I can’t expect anyone to have an animal put down because he bit me. As long as he’s not around people.

Oh my to have been bitten is not great for anyone... That would leave a fear in anyone...

Your sons dog sounds lovley if a bit over excited to be jumping up to see you .. Sadies trained to sit and wait before being allowed to greet .. I have grandchildren and don't want her jumping on them .... she's very gentle about them and respects boundaries ..I also expect my grandchildren not to encourage her and they are really good on that aspect of things...

My Sons dog is only young and my Son encourages him to jump on him. So naturally he’s going to jump on me when I go in. It means he has to cage him when I go up. I would love to be able to play with him. It’s really hard when you love animals like I do. I’m such a softy I’ve got to be careful with everything. I caught my foot in the carpet by the door and went flying a couple of weeks ago. I fell forward, hit the table and knocked my elbow on the way down. Then the table pushed me over to the chair and I slid my arm down through my armchair. My skin ripped back about three inches. Then my knee hit the floor and broke that open. It’s nearly healed now but I hardly touched as I slipped down. It was like doing it in slow motion. I looked at the clock and minor injuries had shut at 8.30pm so I dressed it myself and went to minor injuries the next day. I get so annoyed with myself because I rip so easy. I guess that’s what getting old does and having steroids.

It's a she her names Sadie ....and she's not growling .... she's trained to do this when I shout smile to brush her teeth ....I have never heard her bark or growl she's a very confident and contented little 1 year old .... lots of training and love ❤️
