hi all hope all is well, I started a new FB group today. COPD -Emphysema for like minded people to connect and chat about their experiences to share , living with COPD is like a minefield, and can be difficult for people and their families. Take care please feel free to come over and join. Trevor

Yes , but I just thought it would also be good to have a relaxed FB group, I really like healthunlocked so I will use and learn from both .

I'm stage 4 and find it's helpfull to be in a few groups the more information the better

It gets me down sometimes, when I have to depend on my husband, on things I use to do .

I too am severe, I have portable oxygen, which they are changing for some reason today, hope it's for the better. Also border line for home oxygen scale is 73, I am 75, don't really want home supply as it will restrict me so much you have to be on it 16 hours a day they said.I too rely on my husband don't know what I would do without him, he us 75 tomorrow, thank goodness fit and active. I wish you well.

That sounds a good idea Trevor, you can make FB a private group where as Healthunlocked is public and worldwide. Going on variuos groups often leads to varied info as not all medics are of the same opinion and members speak from there individual patient experience. As I have been on the lung site since before healthunlocked took over I will remain on one site so I do not get confused in my old age 👍😀

By far the best group I've found and joined on Facebook is copd UK. With 7,600 members the group is well established and the members and particularly the admins are very knowledgeable and helpful.
