We had our first frost today but it didn’t look as beautiful as in your photo. My dogs were ‘mincing’ up the lawn first thing because it was too cold for their feet!
That's made me laugh this is Sadies first ever frost she was puzzled by the ice in the puddles and was jumping on it cause she's a bit crazy like that 🩷🩷

First Frost near Fountains Abbey this morning! Another cold night tonight again ❄️ Been in my back garden and just gently cut some shrubs back and cleared, well hopefully, the last leaves up here and there! Funny isn't it when you have been outside house feels warmer again, lovely 🤩
Last garden bin collection next week Tuesday so had to get stuff done!
Better don't forget my rubbish bin collection day after as totally forgot about it last time! Never mind! I be setting my Alarm ⏰ this time Tuesday evening, can't forget again!

Well must admit I have a love/ hate relationship with retirement, so doing some gardening and fresh air does me good BB8 👌 I will find my feet eventually, early days!
With my gardening I waited until this afternoon as it was far too cold this morning! But we had lovely sunshine today! ✨
Pity, days are so short now, but have some fairy lights on so I won't use to much electric! It helps 👍
I was the same after I retired from the NHS that's why I opened my business as a dog walker and went self employed...I hate sitting around 😂😂
But doesn't that affect your tax threshold? But I think I will have to find a part-time job somehow as January our energy bills are rising again BB8 ! I hindsight I wished I stayed working now! Even for 15 hours per week! But travelling 22 miles to work and back altogether, at least it saves petrol 👌
Must apply for a bus pass next week, just keep forgetting that 😏🫣

Stunning sunrise BB. Hope their coats have thickened up but am sure they are ready for this weather. The sunshine didn't clear the frost here until later in the day yesterday but wasn't quite so bad this morning. For some reason I am feeling the cold more this year, although I am not moving round as much x
I'm sure their beautiful fur coats will keep them warm and cosy they are clever and know where to go to stay warm .. Lots of gorse to wander through and always groups standing together to keep each other warm 💜💜

Aww! Lovely. I always feel sorry for the animals outside in the frost and snow.
I'm sure they are absolutely fine there coats protect them from the elements and the owners check on them all year round 🥰

Ah me to but they are made for outside life and they are regularly checked on by the owners given meds etc wormers ... We only take them home if we have to 🥰

I used to be warm blooded but these days, I like the warm. I do like the sun though, in spring or summer
I love spring and summer are my favourite seasons ...I wrap up in this weather and have wet gear for the rain when I'm out and about in the forest 🥰
Where I am are woods, not exactly forests - To hard to go in, as they bank steeply to a stream/river at the bottom. I wrap up inside lol - I think spring just edges it as it's shows winter has gone. Must have planted 100 plus tulips - small daffs and loads of crocus, yep love spring. and summer.

Been very mild today lovley sunshine .... did you mean glistening??? I like a cold bite gets rid of bugs and means I can have hot chocolate with scooshy cream and mallows 🤣🤣🤣

I love it dogs having fun makes my day ... Sadies first frost was spent breaking ice in the puddles and getting mucky...😂
So much fun to see the dogs just enjoying the day to the maximum! We could take a lesson there!
