Bb, this is lovely! It's atmospheric. It says to me two ballet dancers entwined in a slow, intimate dance; centre stage under a muted spotlight, surrounded by the company of dancers.It could be an orchestra playing Vivaldi's Four Seasons - Autumn, with one of the musicians highlighted.
Sorry, my mind's off on a flight of fancy.

Let your mind take over and enjoy Vivaldi ... I saw the dancers in the trunk when I first saw it ... I had a large intake of breath and thought how graceful .. This is a picture I absolutely love to find and take ..

to me it looks like the tree’s got up and started walking through the forest. Amazing colours and light.
I would be running as fast as I could if it walking through the woods .. But can see the same when I look at the picture 🥰
do you do photography for a living? Amazing! Do you enter competitions or have gallery displays, if not, you should 🦊x
BB has stated that she does this for her personal hobby and doesn't want to enter into competitions, we are so lucky that she shares these with us x

When I saw it . .I lost my breath due to its twisted trunk and its leaves creating their own magic its a beautiful tree and I bet could spin many a story 💜💜
You certainly could tell a good tale with this photo, I am sure your grandchildren would be entertained with this. There is a huge tree at my little local station and it has been in the wars with broken limbs everywhere and has grown all higgledy piggledy. It looks to me like it has an eye where a broken branch must have healed. I could imagine it talking to me when i used to wait for the train in the morning going to work I even used to say good morning to it. I am sure though it was a grumpy tree or perhaps I just have an overactive imagination x

That is beautiful - looks like someone else is dealing with these illnesses through photography. I try to get out to walk every day (40% of right lung removed together with benign tumour in Apr 23), although hopefully I'm being signed off from Thoracic this week. Still finding walking any distance difficult, but that's as much because of weight gain due to being on high dose steroids for the past 12 months!

A beautiful place to live. I'm in rural South Northamptonshire and whilst we've got Everdon Stubbs (woodland trust) it doesn't compare to the New Forest!

Thank you, that's very kind. Photography has always been very important to me and, until I had to give up due to contracting PMR (my primary condition, the lung issue was discovered when they wanted to try me on other medication) I was a part time pro. Whilst I'd given up shooting weddings, I still did portrait shoots but my main subject was live music. However, my condition affects what I can carry so I had to sell all my full frame pro kit (2 camera bodies plus a LOT of lenses!) and I'm still getting used to my new, smaller and lighter kit. I've done a couple of outdoor gigs for friends, and once I stop being autoimmune I hope to be back in the photo pit and down the front again.
Can't wait to be back to being LadyGigger 🤣
Hope it won't be too long before you're back doing what you love. I used to be a keen amateur- have a lot of no longer used lenses to prove it, but these day it's mainly 'snapshots' with my trusty digitals- a bit of a comedown.
Thank you. Strangely, I felt better when I'd sold all my kit to MPB - and, obviously, quite rich - but managed to spend it all on a micro four-thirds system, one camera and three lenses - not that I can carry them all at the same time any more! Funnily enough, when I was unwell enough to not be able to carry any cameras, I really got into phone photography: my phone - a Google Pixel 6 Pro - will let me shoot in RAW or DNG format, so I can still have a play in Lightroom to edit and, of course, the best camera is the one you've got with you.
I'm sure you'll be back at the gigs soon. You sound a very determined lady.
