A Simple Cactus Painting.

Hi everyone.

I have been doing spooky paintings but - I am having drops in my eyes for Conjunctivitis- Age-related macular degeneration in my right eye.

I was supposed to have injection in my eye last Monday but - Nurse said what's than "gunk" in you eyes? - It was Conjunctivitis I think but so she would not inject my eye, in case of getting infection deep in my eye, I see her point. She gave me drops and she arranged an appointment for eye injection tomorrow..

I have been doing spooky painting but they need tidying up as I took it on to soon.

So in the meantime I am posting a simple cactus painting, simple but happy. My wifes hobby is cactus,

You’ve certainly captured the characteristics of the different cacti types there, Ern. I like cacti, too😊

Thank you, Yes Anne has a greenhouse full, but not a desert cactus

Hope your conjunctivitis clears up quickly and you can get the eye jab (ouch!).

Ouch! Eye injections sound very uncomfortable 😱 but hope you manage to get one this time 🤞. Your cactus painting is very good Ern 🙂. The one on the right reminds me of an American western series on TV many moons ago. Can't remember the name of it but think that cactus was in the opening credits. Good luck with everything xxx

Yes I got my injection. I have to be cautious in case on infection, I have drops to put in eye. I have to go to Gps 11-30 for blood tests. The one on the right is a desert cactus - A bit stunted in a pot but hey I like the shape. It is called " Saguaro Cactus" and grew with coboys and tumbleweeds other end I think is Opuntia which I think also grows in desert - Middle one could be anything.

Loved this painting. The one on the right is waving and the middle one looks like a couple of my babies, except that they are reluctant to flower. My biggest one flowered beautifully this year. I can't paint, but I photographed it. xxx
