RELVAR Elipta side effects??

Has anyone suffered from side effects from this fuel inhaler?

absolutely no side effect for me. I have found it very very good especially since it was changed to the stronger dose.

I’ve been on Relvar for at least 4 years with no side effects. Have you been taking it for long? What side effects do you have?

Not sure what a fuel inhaler is. I have been on Relvar for years dont seem to have any side effects .

I have asthma, and my nurse put me on RELVAR Elipta ( Fluticasone & Vilanterol) 184/22. 1 inhalation per day.

To start with this inhaler was great, but gradually I felt terrible over the 18 months I was on it. Lightheadedness, palpitations, for which I saw a cardiologist twice, sweating. Cramps, muscle aches and weakness, tiredness and loss of appetite leading to me loosing a stone in weight.

During this time I must have drove my GP mad as she did numerous blood tests. Chest X-rays, other numerous tests that all came back normal.

After the last tests came back I sat down and went over everything I was eating or taking.

Looking into Vilanterol- there were all the side effects that I was experiencing!!

I cannot believe I didn’t check these before!

My GP was amazed when I spoke to her and asked who had prescribed them? I should never have been prescribed this as I have no COPD. The GP prescribed me my old Sybicort and after being on this for a couple of weeks now, I have been feeling hungry and almost put the weight back on, No cramps. Palpitations and feeling much better !

Obviously the Vilanterol did not agree with me and I wondered if any one else had the same problem?

I've been on Relvar for more years than I can quite remember but can honestly say it has never caused me any problems at all with side effects.

I was on Relvar for years and never had any problems. I am now taking the triple ellipta Trellegy which has another drug combined with the ones in the Trellegy, No problems with this one either it has been fine.
