Hi 👋 Thankyou everyone for your private messages...

Apologies I'm not being rude but my private chat thing does not work on here due to me forgetting my email address...

Please everyone thats messaged I have read all your heartfelt messages and would love to reply personally to you all ..

We are all coping quite well knowing we did right by himself ... there are moments that I crumple in a heap because cryings good in a grieving process...

We have been back to walking our doggos this week and Sadie Sunshine is keeping us on our toes ...

She's learning her basic training sit ...lay down ... wait .. etc as well as running behind you on the stairs trying to make you trip 😂😂

Love to all and thankyou all once more ❤️

Grieving is such a natural process and one we all go through at some time. Stanley was such a character and a really dear, loveable boy so it’s natural to mourn his loss.

Our cat Tessa has been gone nearly six years yet when looking after our daughters cat Sybil last year I burst into tears because I called her Tessa…..twice. I’m hopeless!😂

Thinking of you. Xxx🩷

I’m hoping that you are looking after yourself - eating etc..

Stan is in a good place now, I trust you have his picture on display.

Re your email have you tried sending a friend an email? Then they can tell you what it is

Look after yourselves xx

I remember my beautiful Maddy girl giving us permission to euthanize her; I swear she said yes as my daughters and I said yes we should, and I wanted so badly for her to stay with me forever. And now, six years later I still cry over her. We are all so lucky when animals choose to stay with us for a while, but it sure hurts to lose them. One of the problems we have with life I guess--none of us gets out of it alive.

It’s strange how the passing of a loved pet causes us so much grief and maybe more than a human I still miss my cuddles with Sam our GSD. We have 2 canvases of him and all our grandkids know about him though they’ve never seen him. I hope you have your drawing/painting of Stan sorted. Sadie sunshine will give you lots of joy Take care bb. Xx🤗🤗

My friend had a rough collie called Sadie, one of the best dogs ever. I hope that is a good omen. When my friend became disabled after a riding accident, Sadie was her closest companion, always with her and so receptive to her needs. With Sadie by her she was able to do things she couldn't have done otherwise, like going down the long dark lane to the railway station, which enabled her to get about much more. Not that they ever met any baddies, which was perhaps just as well. Hope Sadie Sunshine's training goes well. xxx C

I don’t know if this will help you and I do know how hard it is. but the way I deal with it is. Would you want them to go on as they are. You know things can only get worse and I’m sure you wouldn’t want to see that. So dry your tears. It’s ok where they are. No more pain or discomfort. . Xxx

Time does not heal grief. Time has respect for grief and makes it manageable. So glad you have Sadie Sunshine. Best of luck with her!❤️

I am sorry for your loss. I must have missed a previous post so a delayed reaction from me.When the time comes you have to do the right thing by them, don't you? It still hurts, but it's kinder in the long run.

Thinking of you and sending virtual hugs. (((((❤️))))) xx Moy

glad you’re ok, after stress of having Stan put to sleep. It’s never easy, I’m wondering how long will be able to keep Morrison. I’ve had him over 7 years, and my vets thought he was seven when saw him not long after. He’s showing some signs of age, nothing significant at moment. He’s taken charge here, decides which door wants to go out of etc. I’m his butler! Jean x

It was his choice to go to his forever sleep his last 3 weeks the pain in his eyes was very obvious... he was sharing his love more than he normally would and we knew it was his time

We do end up tending to their needs on a daily basis and we do it dutifully as we love them bones n all ...
