Glad all’s well so far Jean. Pete will have Sanofi on the 30th so hoping he’ll be ok. Take care xxxx

Glad you had yours. The ridiculous situation for me is that I’m not eligible. This is despite being clinically extremely vulnerable and having to shield for months and months and when I did contract Covid in December being eligible for antivirals!!! Madness. 🤦‍♀️

Sorry you don’t get early jab, whats your GP and consultant done about it, as you’re class as vulnerable would expect you to get it very soon. Best wishes Jean x

in reply to Bevvy

Same with me because not immuno suppressed or over 75. Last year had cardiologist and resp con write a letter. Went in through NHS app. Ticked immuno suppressed and booked. Nobody asked to look at the letters. Doing the same this year. Both consultants want me to have the jab.

I had the Autumn one after booking it twice but that was the over fifties at risk group, now I am entitled again as at risk and over 75. It is a bit hit and miss. I also had the virus last summer. It seems some of the most at risk are getting caught in the catch 22 clause as floaters not fitting exactly to anyone group. Hope you get yours via your GP or Consultant . I am awaiting a GPS letter in order to book.

You are also over 75 and qualify on age. It is the first time that I wished I was older!

Glad you’ve found way to get early jab, hope works for you this year, and others who need it. Good luck and best wishes. Jean x

I had a text yesterday inviting me for the jab. I had it this morning together with husband. Didn't catch its name, but I expect it was Sanofi. So far no side effects. xxx

Mine was Pfizer xxSheila

They said mine was similar to Pfizer. I wonder if a lot of people had bad reactions to Moderna. xxx Chris

I would refuse Moderna as,I had bad reaction. The nurse said quite a lot of patients had,a bad reaction..so pleased my 6th Spring booster was Pfizer. No problems thank goodness. I dont worry about Covid though and Live my life as normal . Life is too short to worry about everything. . I have never worn a mask and still dont . When I go out I like to see peoples faces especially their smile .

I had covid and was not even Ill just a slight headache and went away with paracetamol.

Have a lovely day xx Sheila ⚘💕

it is a different new one, they didn't tell us until I asked but it was too late the jab was starting to go in. my wife has pain in the arm 4 days after I ONLY HAVE A NILD PAIN AT TIMES ALTHOUGH i HAVE NEVER HAD PAIN BEFORE. there is a new and deadly one on its way round and I would advise anyone thinking of NOT having it to reconsider the one coming seems to be a bad one so a little pain for a while is better than death.

garshe in reply to tomhatha

Well mine was Pfizer.i will NOT have any any new ones as not properly tested more risk of complications from the vaccine than covid xxSheila 👍

tomhatha in reply to garshe

we never had the choice it was that or nothing a new Covid is sweeping the world and 50 cases in England so not sure if the old injections work or if this new one is to save money. I just sing or play my recordings and and keep happy that helps with any medical troubles good luck

Well theres more cases of flu and other viruses going around so I dont worry about them. Quite a lot have died from the vaccine and these are young people, or had serious life long complications so. cant worry about it really. I remember the fuss over HRT years ago. I took it for over 20yrs and best thing ever for me.👍.

I make my own decisions and DONT listen to the media .

Take care xxSheila ⚘💕

You should have been given a card showing date of jab and which one you had. I carry my cards in purse wallet so if in accident or whatever my condition can be easily seen. Also carry card about my PCD, and heart on wrong side. Jean x

Had mine a few days ago in a cubby hole in a local pharmacy. No card given and was told they don't issue cards any more. No side effects so no worries.

I had my booster on Tuesday. I had Pfizer as I’m too young for Sanofi. Cheered me up no end when the nurse told me that! I’m CEV too.

May I ask what age is the criteria for Sanofi?

Millyboo710 profile image
Millyboo710 in reply to CDPO16

The nurse told me it was for those aged 75 and over.

I’m extremely vulnerable too. I had my jab on Tuesday, Pfizer for me. I had 24 hours of side effects.

I have a friend with severe kidney disease. She went online last time and ticked the box to say she is immune suppressed and got her jab. She got her call up this time too. I’m immune compromised and qualify but it doesn’t work for me so I would rather my husband had the jab. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had Sanofi on Wednesday. Had a bit of a headache and arm tender, also bit tired. Not had this one before. It’s apparently for the oldies of the world X

I wanted pfizer but only had sanofi. Apparently has something in it akin to flu vaccine given to over 65- I was told by my arm jabber x

I personally dont agree with all the different vaccines. Prefer sticking to the ones I've had. Its trial and error and most havent had full testing xx

all mine have been Pfizer till the last one so I’d prefer the same too x Enjoy your weekend. X

I see my jab was something called VidPrevtyn. I've never heard of that one.

had mine 3 hours ago . didnt book / they sent me a message and i phoned 191 but the site opposite to where i live wasnt available and they wanted me to go to another site miles away . so did the usual thi ng---- waited until the car park was less full and walked across the road and spoke to them . they didnt do walk in but would do me . is that why i got no details of which vaccine it was . didnt have to wait afterwards either so just had to wait a minute then done and came home, now must remember to tell my surgery.
