Biologic Fridge

Hi Guys

I take a Biologic injection every 8 weeks. I’m going abroad for nearly 3 months and need to take this injection with me…for those that take it, know it has to be refrigerated. Im looking at portable hand held fridges…can anyone steal me in the direction of a good one that lasts up to 22 hours?

Hi, I was in a similar predicament a few years ago. I couldn’t find a portable small fridge that was suitable. I bought a medical cool box which guarantees to stay to 4-7 degrees for 72 hours. The ice packs are quite large and heavy and don’t leave much room in the bag for medicines. I had to carry 14 vials of a medicine, they came in individually boxed glass vials and it was just the right size for my needs so I am sure that it would be suitable for you too perhaps? The brand is Medactiv and I bought it online, I remember it being quite expensive at the time but cannot remember exactly how much it cost me.

Hope this helps,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn.Thank you for your reply. The ones I've been looking at are £400 or just under. I'll have to have another look. But would rather have something that's recommended.

Kind regards

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

I had a quick look on their website earlier, it’s the icool cube that I bought.
