Usual interstitial pneumonia. Scarring tends to be in both lungs. Slightly different from Interstitial pulmonary fibrosis. Lots of information on Internet + Wikipedia. You really need a full explanation from respiratory team then you know the difference and how to deal with it. Best wishes. Dawn
