hellebores, the Eurasian genus Helleborus .....do correct me if I'm wrong London!
Just lovely, my white ones have been out for a few weeks now and they're a joy to see. In a few weeks I'll be leaving my town garden in a Cotswolds town and taking over another in Ely. I'm more than a little concerned because because it's twice the size and quite barren & I'm not able to bend and dig like used to .
Good luck-quite a challenge moving from the Cotswolds to the fens, where the wind sometimes comes straight from Russia. I expect you'll do what I'd do and nose round other people's gardens. I'm sure you'll find some toughies.
Challenge is right, truth be known I'm bricking it. It took two years to recover from move from Wimbledon to here just over eight years ago. I've always been madly independent & did it all myself. Now I must pay others which rankles Chris ×
Thanks for lovely flowers, hellebores? Mine not done well this year, didn’t get the care they need last year as I was so unwell, hope this year will be able to look after them. Jean
Lovely colour.
I am sure you will enjoy your me time in the garden, best place to be when the weather is nice , love the hellebore x
The flowers are beautiful !!! I live in the US in Wisconsin and once again we are under a winter storm warning. I always say that Spring arrives here in June! I have asthma and COPD and seasonal allergies. I love herb and flower gardening but need to be watchful of high pollen and mold count. Can't wait to get back out there .... calms the mind and soul and is great exercise. But this year will be different as I will be having a total knee replacement in a few weeks. I will push myself in PT so I can tend to my gardens. 🌼🌺🌻
