This the time of year I am stuck inside.Too cold to go outside and breathe the cold air. Need heating on inside. We keep dehumidifier set at 55. Generally it knocks itself on and off throughout the day and night, keeps the place free of condensation.

I got a temperature and humidity thermometer from our local garden centre to put in out greenhouse, but as it's been very handy for checking why my breathing is not so good, it has never left the lounge coffee table since it arrived here. Currently humidity is at 56%, heading into the uncomfortable red zone.

I have a dehumidifier in my sitting room. When we had all that warm weather in October the humidity level was very high outside ...98% so I switched mine on and have been emptying 5.5 litres every day. Humidity level varies from 42-53 %. Much better for my lungs and no condensation!
