patience and rest. If you are worried ring the asthma nurses on Monday or 111 on the weekend. Or you are really worried you can ring 999.

Is Fostair your only preventer Colby? If so, there are other things that can be added in. For example, I take Fostair 200/6, Spivira Respimat and Montelukast on a daily basis. I also have a Fostair 100/6 and Salbutomol to add in when my asthma starts to deteriorate. (I have found that taking the Spivira at night helps a lot with my breathing first thing in the morning and has greatly reduced my need for bucket loads of salbutomol)

Might be worth discussing with your GP.

As Troilus says, there are plenty of add-ons in asthma management, phyllocontin is another possibility although it makes me tachy. My vote would be for Spiriva Respimat too, I find it really helps

Is it very humid or wet where you are at the moment? Higher humidity lowers the amount of oxygen available in the air.
