I rang MEDIQUIP to get new mask etc for my nebuliser.
They rang me back to say they would deliver me a new nebuliser.
It came Monday,WOW.it’s so fast and the mist seems to get further down into my lungs.
It takes 5 minutes 57 seconds to administer 2.5 mls.
the respiratory nurse rang me today ( regular catch up phone call)
I told her about new nebuliser as well as loads of other stuff.
She said that it should go through in 7 minutes or less.
The old neb was taking over 20 minutes..I’m hoping this info might help someone else.
She’s also oredered me a new spacer,so I won’t have to beg the Dr.
So on the whole a positive day,
I hope everyone is coping ok xx

Bevvy in reply to Hidden 2 years ago why spam account? I’ve looked person up and seems genuine…..

Hidden in reply to Bevvy 2 years ago Only 4 posts/comments since May and every one linking to the breathe-easy device. All their comments are the same. They posted yesterday separate to this saying they were researching to buy one and what did people think of the website (as they felt it was the best one they’d found so far), only to reply in this thread same day saying they’re using it. Previous posts said they were using it, so which is it? Aside from the morality of trying to sell things that are available on the nhs and may not be appropriate or safe (there are contraindications to opep devices), I wish these people would at least attempt to keep their stories straight between posts.

Bevvy in reply to Hidden 2 years ago ahh ok. I didn’t investigate that closely. Fair enough. Noticed they have now posted on Asthma site…..!!

I don't use a nebuliser but it's always nice to hear good news. You'll have so much more free time now.

That is great news Oshgish. My nebuliser takes around 40 minutes plus to nebulise about 10 mls. So frustrating. It is a good job I enjoy reading. What is the name and maker of your new nebuliser please? Best wishes. Marlbee

That's good news with this nebulizer. What is it called again? Good news your nurse calls you. No one at hospital or surgery calls me. Good luck.
