Hello and welcome to this friendly, caring site SeriousS. I feel you need to speak to your doctor and tell him how you’re feeling. In the meantime, the lovely people on here will do their best to offer help and support.

Take care xx

I echo what sassy says SeriousS, medics are your best source of advice. Im not sure there are many members with your lung issues. If you're in the uk I'd suggest that you call the wonderful helpline 0300 222 5800 during uk office hours 9-5 Mon-Fri.

Wishing you all the best. Peege

Hi and welcome to the site, so sorry hear about your diagnosis and the pain you are in. I think it best you go back to your GP and have a good chat with them. Please try to stay positive and eat a healthy diet along with plenty to drink. I would advise you not to over do things like exercise until you speak to ypur GP or consultant. Hope you start to feel better soon there is always someone here to help and listen to you if you want to talk. We are are a great bunch who like a good laugh, and a chat. Please let us know how you get on. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻💖

Hi SeriousS and welcome to the site. I cant advise on your condition as I dont know anything about it, but as others have suggested talk to the helpline they can help. I do sympathise with you being so young with serious problems and pain, its alot to come to terms with. Keep us updated on your progress and speak with your doctors for pain relief x

Hello SeriousS, I had 2 bullae removed Dec 2019 at the Golden Jubilee hospital Glasgow with keykeyhole surgery due to me being high risk with severe emphysema, very low weight and poor oxygen levels, the pain and discomfort is unbearable, at such a young age especially with this diagnosis I would have thought they should have discussed your options regarding removal of the bullae. In my case I was told it should help ease my breathing but this may not be greatly improved however it would make me more comfortable and ease the pain. I'm so pleased I had the op, yes I'm still badly breathless but I don't have that intolerable discomfort and pain as before, be persistent you really need help with this condition and it should be discussed with docs further.
