Yes! We had lightening and thunder late-ish i think Sunday evening though little rain. Stopped me in my tracks when I saw blue flashing light from the kitchen window it wasn't until the thunder rumbled that I realised what it was. I'm so lucky it never spooks my clever hound & neither do fireworks or cars backfiring (she's deffo not deaf)!
We had some too!! I’m a bit scared of lightning ⚡️ though! But it’s pretty impressive!

here is fantastic because the lightning is green the whole sky lights up jade green

you're brave, I'd rather watch from saftey of house. Don't the dogs get scared x
i have never had a scared dog in a rainstorm they seem to not bother at all ...if they did i would cancel the dog walk my priority is keeping them safe
when we had dogs years ago, we were out in a storm and our dog Sandy tried to get inside my jacket it was funny afterward but at the time it was scary as she was so frightened abnd nearly had me over 😊

The forest is swimming again thank god rivers are flowing and we have had a few downpours in between the sunshine 🌞
I am not a fan of thunderstorms yet strangely kind of enjoy them, I think its because I am scared of them. We havent had much thunder here in Manchester and just the odd few heavy downpours. We seriously need the rain as the summer has been so dry. I feel so sorry for the farmers having their crops ruined and hope they can salvage something x

we had a thunderstorm should i say thunder and heavy downpour but no lightening then it was only two caps as usual. We never get a good old fashioned thunderstorms any more which we could do with up here on the east coast.
They used to go on much longer in previous years 😊
i know i used to work for the council during the summer season doing the first aid post and used some great lightning out to sea mixture of sheet and fork lighting together.
