Beach Scenery

To continue with my holiday postcards from the other day. I found a little easy accessible beach for us lungies who struggle with inclines - it’s a 15 mins run from where I’m staying. I will be back with picnic and deckchair. I’ve no shorts packed for my travels but I’m not a tough as the locals who are out 🏄🏽‍♂️ those wild waves, so don’t really need them. Wish I’d packed some sandals though!

That looks like very soft sand which can be hard to walk on but how lovely to be able to sit and watch the sea and the surfers.

I quite fancy meandering down to that lovely beach myself. Just enjoy being out and about and make the most of your holiday. Xx

Lovely, hope the sun keeps shining. Don't go paddling, as it will be pretty chilly in the Atlantic!! Enjoy the peace and the sea air xxx

I'm curious to know where the beach is. Haven't been on much this week as have been on holiday myself so may have missed it if you've already told us. xx Moy

Hi MoyB it’s a beach along Ballyhiernan Bay found on the Fanad Peninsula. Another smashing day today 19 degrees with sunshine most of the day. Today I went to ballymastocker strand near portsalon.

Portsalon -Ballymastocker Bay. Miles of sandy shore unlike the stoney beach along Ballyhiernan Bay.

Awh fabulous Patf1 now if looking for more sight seeing - go along to the great pollet sea arch if you haven’t been there. I didn’t do the decend but the scenery round about was Devine.

we went to the pollet sea arch a long time ago but I didn't go down then and I doubt I would make it back up now! 😂we also went to Slieve League cliffs and you can drive up to the viewing point and the view is stunning. I am absolutely NOT a photographer so I can't send anything through like your beautiful photos! enjoy the rest of your stay.Pat xx

That looks beautiful. reminds me of the beaches we saw in the Hebrides last year-when the sun came out, which it did occasionally.
