Mr. Cleverley is Minister of state for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office. He is currently very busy because of the Ukraine crisis. I didn't know Ukraine was in the Commonwealth.

Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was created in December 1991. In the adopted Declaration the participants of the Commonwealth declared their interaction on the basis of sovereign equality.

At present the CIS unites: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

Sorry, but you're overlooking the first word in the title 'Foreign', Commonwealth and Development Ofice. Othewise I agree with all the sentiments expressed by others!
