Small airways disease sufferer. Does anyone here get internal head crunching like the brain is in a vice? Usually worse for first few hours of the day.

I thought I was going mental with the noise in my head. It always seems worse when I am really breathless.

Yes , at the moment too.

I often wake in the middle of the night with a headache which lasts for a couple of hours after I get up.

Pain killers do little , tried acupuncture , but a warm shower which runs over the back of my neck can help.

Wish I had some answers.

Hi, have a look at Vestibular Exercises on youtube, might help. There are also acupressure points you could look up too. Peege

My morning headaches are often made worse by, wearing the wrong glasses to look at screens for too long, and large variations in blood oxygen levels overnight because I can only sleep on my back and my tongue blocks the airway. Have had no luck so far co-ordinating GP and dentist to arrange a mouth guard to improve the latter. Now awaiting a new pair of single lens glasses to prevent the former.
