What a beautiful colour ! I had one of these for years , a beautiful vibrant pink , last year it was on its last legs and looking utterly miserable so I took some cuttings and they’re doing well but no flowers yet .

That’s lovely Jaybird. I’m hopeless with houseplants and so always admire those with such talents as you obviously have😊

Beautiful! The last present my late husband gave me was an Easter cactus and it was also absolutely beautiful. The original plant is now 6 years old and looking very sorry but I can’t get rid of it 😢. I’ve taken cuttings but no flowers - has anybody got tips for encouraging the cuttings to flower please?Jan

That’s lovely flowering now. I’ve got several Christmas cactus, had years, including cuttings. mother loved them, sometimes they flower early! Best kept cool over summer, I put mine on a stand in my shady side entry during summer when all frost gone. When branches get bit long, finished flowering, take off last leaves and plant into new pot. Good luck. Jean xx

I have 2 Christmas cacti in bright pink that I inherited from my mother, who passed away in 1994. They also make a second brief showing about this time. So pleased at how they have continued to survive.

Beautiful. I used to have one but after a few years it withered away. X

Doesnt this look so pretty. Mine has just finished flowering and I have re-potted it and given it a good feed x

mine might get some feed but it seems to flourish without any attention usually and .still grows too big for any space available , really needs a hanging basket but no room for that in my small house.

Lovely flowers. I have a very large Christmas cacti that I had as a student in my flat in 1973. It’s moved house with us several times & still flowers well every year. But where to put it???? It’s so big takes up a whole side table. I can’t bear to part with it as had it longer then my hubby 🤣 & that’s a long time. We have taken many cuttings over time & they all do well. X
