Everybody hurts is the first song that popped into my head when I first heard the news about Mike, and it’s still buzzing round my head! I know he would want us to get back to the way we were, but we also need a little time to grieve, and if that’s through music, so be it. RIP, Mike.

I totally agree, we need time to grieve. I’m going to be very sad for a long while. I’d been away from the forum for a few weeks through illness, and it was a terrible shock the day I returned. We were both night owls & had many chats after midnight. I truly feel the world is a much poorer place without him 😔

That song is right on. Makes me cry to think Mike's gone but makes me remember how whenever I opened the computer to see he was readying for a horse race, I couldn't wait to see his commentary. Always left us laughing. I think it was Hungry Hufflepuff that said "He was the nicest man I never met." Rest in peace, Skischool.
