I wish there was a campaign against wood burning stoves. I'm surrounded by them hete in Scotland and often cannot go outside to risk being enveloped by an acrid fug!

Its so annoying isnt it GF and the biggest problem is because they have become so popular everybody wants one. I have a neighbour that is a bxxxxy nuisance once the nice weather arrives and has a bonfire around 3pm almost twice a week, goodness knows where he gets the wood from x

Oh ! Dont start me off lol...I'm surrounded by barbecues, firepits and chimneys. Really some days I can hardly breathe outside! I thought England was bringing in stricter rules but how do they enforce? Scotland is doing nothing.

Apparently the particulates get into lungs and are damaging . I see a few people liked my post. If I had the energy I'd launch a campaign! Thanks for your replies.

Tried the website link but just got this: blf.org.uk normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Chrome tried to connect to blf.org.uk this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be blf.org.uk, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit blf.org.uk right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.
