( the Airline refused to COMPENSATE= " A MISTAKE " ), .................................NOW , a friend here in london had a test - just two days ago ) in preparation of going abroad .( ..... result = " POSITIVE " ..... OH YES ? - he has taken every precaution against infection ,,,,,,,,,so out of curiosity , HAD ANOTHER TEST ( remembering the " Mistake " the Italians made with me ) = TWO DAYS AFTER THIS FIRST " POSITIVE "TEST .. ...................RESULT = " NEGATIVE " ....=. I was confused before I read your post. Now I'm even more confused. It is difficult if we can't trust the professionals to get things right.

I recall you mentioning the mistake in Italy a little while ago Vittorio and think it’s bad that you weren’t compensated. Now your friend has had a test problem. I wouldn’t have believed such a thing if our daughter hadn’t been misdiagnosed too. Our 9 year old grandson recently had covid so had a PCR test done. His mum decided to get a PCR test done too just to be on the safe side. Both came back positive yet our daughter kept having negative lateral flow tests. I suggested she get another PCR test done which she did and it came back negative. Bit of a mix up there it seems. Not great is it! Xxx

I understand that as well as there obviously are mistakes there are some tests that may be hard to determine exactly and it does depend on where on the infection time line you are tested so it is a bit of a lottery. Not sure if we have to test to get into England now. My grandsons came over from the US at the weekend on route to Italy spending the weekend here and didn’t have to test to get into Heathrow either way and I think now they have been told they don’t have to test to get back into US. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Agree!! Pharmaceutacol industry cashing in massively. Also concerning Pfizer keeping side affects of vaccines under wraps. I really welcomed the jabs suffering Bronchiectasis & pseudomonas but after all 3 jabs suffered with palpitations /angina esp after Booster. Finally subsided thankfully but unlikely to go for a 4th jab.

I really am not sure that I believe the results of these tests and am sure that for travel the pcr tests are totally inaccurate and are just a money making exercise, there doesnt seem to be any regulation on this and there should be compensation when incorrect x
