My daughter brought me my cat about a week after my husband died. She had seen him at vets, who had nursed him back to health after been found living rough for about six months on a Morrison’s car park. He had bad bite and infection on his neck, but didn’t have chip so couldn’t return him to his owner, who may have lived but died in sheltered housing by car park. I called him Morrison of course and he settled in very well, I’m his butler, sometimes think he is in charge, he was definitely used to being in a house, jumps onto draining board when wants drink! He keeps me on my feet, wouldn’t be without him. Jean x

Morrison sounds like quite a character and a survivor Jean. It’s good he has you. Our cat Tessa used to drink from the kitchen tap. She was definitely the boss. Love and hugs, Carole xxx💜😻

After my first baby died we got a cat and he was a great comfort, he allowed me to hold him and cry many times. They are very understanding I think. Love Iris x

Oh that’s so sad, glad cat could comfort you. Morrison not really lap cat, but recently after over 4 years here, when have tray on my lap for iPad etc he’s started to come onto it for fuss. He prefers to be higher up on eye level, or higher than me, I’m only 5 ft. Now time to Nebulise, boring but has to be done. Love, Jean, and M xxx

Like your Morrison, my cat Tarbie drinks from the sink and the bath, so now his water bowl is in the bath. He drinks far more now, which is good when he has a dried food diet. He doesn't eat wet food, just licks up the gravy.

Personality plus, a bit like Blackbird’s dog Stanley. Keeps you on your toes 🐞

Morrison sounds quite a character. Our cat rescue cat died about a month ago, and there’s still a gap in our lives. We also have two dogs to keep us on our toes. All pets give unconditional love and ask nothing in return.

My daughter loves cats, she has three (at the moment ) one has only three legs, one has only one eye and the youngest, beautiful Ralph, is just naughty. 😂
