Not been too well recently,My ears have been itchy inside for weeks,Tried allsorts of remedies new and old,Had my hair cut short to stop it tickling my ears.Tuesday one ear was red raw and like a cauliflower ear,Look that one up lol.So painful so itchy.Needed to see a DR.Was on hold as the 14th in line for One and Half hours,Was advised to go to chemist for advice. No way was I doing that,I knew it was something more than a chemist to see to, Finally got an appointment .Only 4 chairs in the waiting room only me on one.Dr diagnosed Celluitis of ear,Got the prescription and asked on the way out about my booster jab.Which was next day,She said if you feel ok go get it, if you feel poorly cancel it.Phoned Covid vaccine centre next day , they said if on antibiotics dont come until 5 days after finishing them.Sorry for a long story, but why dont Drs know that.feeling poorly,Rose x

Celulitis
Oh no Rose. I am sorry to hear this. I have a good friend who had a serious case of Cellulitis and had to be hospitalised. I truly sympathise. Try not to scratch is a very unhelpful phrase here, I know. 😕 I hope it clears up quickly with the antibiotics. As for the jab, I myself would be a bit hesitant. Take good care Rose , thinking of you.

That sounds like a nasty infection. I hope that the antibiotics clear it up and that your vaccine isn't delayed for too long.
That’s really awful Rose. Pete had cellulitis nearly three years ago on his lower leg and it was the worse thing I’ve ever seen. Please take care and hope you feel better soon. Have your jab when you’ve recovered. Hugs, Carole xxx🤗
Hope the antibiotic does the trick. Trying not to itch is hard work.
Hope the abs work quickly. Try not to scratch because if you get dry skin inside of your ear that’s a whole new problem. Perhaps chemist may recommend some cream whilst abs are working to stop the itch?
Heiio Kristicats, Thank you for your reply,I must try to get somekind of stop itching cream. All summer the inside my ears have drove me mad tickling.I have used lots of different creams and lotions.Nothing would stop it,I really should have seen a Dr, but I never did,Thought my ears wasnt important enough, when lots of people have been so ill.Plus trying to get through to surgery is hopeless. When i did eventually got through last week,They said Dr would only speak to patients for emergency .So i said it wes,Good job I did. Rose x
Hi Rose so sorry you have cellulitis. I have had it 4 times in the past 2 years. I now know prevention is better than cute so i make sure i daily put moisturiser on my legs so that itching does not occur. If I fail to do this and begin itching i put a plaster on any open skin and it works. Cellulitis is a really nasty infection and it does make you feel really unwell. Take care and I hope you will feel better soon. Maximonkey
