In 2019 I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer with extensive widespread bobe mets. At the same time diagnosed with primary lung cancer. I was treat with curative lung radiation then started on medication for secondary breast cancer. I was doing well but then have had recurrence of lung cancer. Delemma for oncologists is the danger of stopping the breast cancer treatment to treat the lung. Because I am quite well they are waiting and watching. They said quality of life important. I am concerned that they wait too long before they are able to intervene with treatment. My secondaries are stable my concerm is lung cancer. Oncologist has calledit complicated not me. He doesnt seem too confient of what he is saying so therefore Icam not confident. This diagnosis is more difficult.

Maybe you should ask for a second opinion? Good luck with everything going forward.
Just saying hi and hoping for the best for you. I think that your oncologists will have your best interests in mind when deciding on your treatment in such a difficult case. Do you have the support of a specialist nurse? If so perhaps you could discuss your concerns with her.
Unfortunately lung specialist nurse doesnt know about breast care and breast care nurse and oncologist doesnt seem to know much about lung. So its a bit tricky
