I get my second Pfizer jab July 14. This new variant is all over the news here in the states. Thoughts??

I’ll feel safer a couple weeks after my second jab. I’m very good at distancing. I was curious if the Delta variant is another pandemic wave to come over in the UK.

The Delta variant is all over the UK but fortunately the vaccine is helping and not so many deaths at the moment. Stay safe Maricopa and wishing you well. Xxxx

Good you are getting your 2nd Pfizer jab, sooner the better. Delta variant is already in UK and increasing rapidly, in Indian there has been mention of the ~Delta Plus also.

People in UK are still required to wear masks inside any building and are supposed to be safedistancing still inside and outside but alas not always the case, hence the increased rapid spread.

Stay well and safe, try to avoid crowds and wear a mask when in a situation where the risk is higher. try to keep safe distance from anybody, don't mix inside other peoples homes that are not of your own household, these are the things I do along the guidelines recommended by UK government, health preservation basically in time of covid.

Its uncertain you if you will be able to access all UK news, but you should be able to access it via BBC US/Canada

You can access any site from different territories, other than those that use state firewalls. All you need to do is to use TOR Browser. I use this to access US sites that block European countries because of GDPR issues. There are no such issues using TOR anyway, it makes totally anonymous connections. You cannot be invisibly infected by malware or viruses either, your browsing cannot be tracked or traced even by your own Internet provider. Surf the world without restrictions, safely. It is a free download, if using Android it is on the play store or for Apple, on their store.

Hi, wishing you all the best in keeping safe Maricopa. Our vaccination programme over here is pretty high which is really helping for ie over 50% of young people 18 - 30 have had their 1st vaccination. Sadly there's still a proportion of the population who 'dont believe' in the vaccination (including my niece 😡 so I won't be going anywhere near her for the foreseeable).

Most days Badbessie puts up a link to Dr John Campbell's covid information. The videos are very informative indeed and most reliable in my opinion. Once you've found one you'll have the possibility of searching out any of the others for the latest delta variant news. Peege x

I just read somewhere that the Pfizer and Moderna are the best against the D variant. This could all change again I suppose but that's the latest!
