A most welcome change. I hope we don't get record temps in the upper 30's later though,

I will have to empty the fridge to be able to climb into it 😎

It’s looking like 11 for me 🤔 It’s been so cold this year that the grass isn’t growing yet. ❄️

Call me a party pooper but I'd rather have 11 than 23.

Hi, 23°C is my upper limit, any hotter than that then I start to struggle. The harder it becomes to breath, the hotter I get. I have only had just a sheet over me at night for the last 2 months or so. Neither have we needed to have the heating on, although Sharon has resorted to long cardigans at times whilst I just have a tee shirt on.

I'm sorry - I fear that the recent cold spell is all my fault!

This time last year, it was so hot that I needed a shady place to sit in the garden and we found a little place between two bushes where something had died off and we nick named it Granny's Grotto. I was happy with a couple of chairs in there, but my husband got carried away and this year we cleared a bit more of the border and, after much huffing and puffing with a flat pack arbour we now have somewhere posh to sit in the shade.

We have had some sun and blue skies so the shady bit is ok, but the wind has been so damned cold that I've only sat on the seat a couple of times and only one time was it warm enough to have a cuppa whilst there

It's Sods Law in action once again, isn't it?

Should I get him to take it down again for the sake of us all?

xx Moy

Yes please to a bit of warmth! I’m cold all the time, and still wearing winter woollens.
