Thankyou for that Debs. Interesting to see that SAGA are concentrating on the vaccine status of their passengers and covid prevention rather than discriminating against passengers who were CEV and shielding as a member has pointed out is the policy of Fred Olsen.
Thank you. Travel and holidays are never essential but they are a big part of life for many of us, a part we have been denied for more than a year. This sort of information is therefore useful and informative. I feel Covid has cheated me out of a year of what I’d planned and saved for, a year I’ll never get back so any company trying to curtail my travelling for spurious reasons gets me very annoyed.
Thank you . Debs. I havent been on their land holidays but I have sailed with saga many times and have always found them caring They do go out of the way to be helpful and the crew from the Philippines are lovely and saga helps their families too.
We have completely ruled out foreign travel this year although hope to go back to India next or the year after. One tip I will share is always book with a credit card as it gives an extra layer of protection. Last year the flight operator went bust and many were queuing for a refund we got ours fairly quickly via our card provider. I heard tails of holiday companies squirming on refunds, offering vouchers; always pay with your credit card this wont happen.
