Hi Julie, it’s really bad here too. We’re on the south coast and already in tier 4. I just don’t know what the answer is. Lockdown maybe?

You take care. Xxxx

I think you may be right, its so annoying, ive been shielding since March only stopped briefly when lockdown ended then we went to tier 3 & i was told to shield. I must say its had its good points, my breathing is better as im not out in the pollution & working from home means no going out into the cold damp weather but i have missed the office banter & missing visiting my client’s at home, zoom, TEAMS, conference calls just aren’t the same xx

It’s not great is it. Pete has an ultrasound appointment tomorrow so we have to go to the hospital. We should be safe but this new variant is very worrying.

You stay safe Julie. There’s hope for a better year ahead. Xxxx

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones sassy59. Reading your post about Pete's appointment at 🏥hospital- you are right to be concerned about not only COVID-19 but also these new variants. My ex had to be admitted into 🏥 about 10 days ago due to a fall and a seizure(or the other way around). Whilst in there , on day 3 they said he now tested positive for COVID-19 and 100% caught it in 🏥as he was showing a negative test when first admitted. My point being, take every precaution you are able to and avoid everybody ,except the department Pete needs to attend. You can never be over protected during a time when the virus is running circles around us. .🐿🌈😷x

If the experts had the final say we probably would already be in lockdown (which I agree with) but sadly the government is more reactive than proactive which has led to increasing numbers, along with a minority who do not think they need to abide by the safeguards!

I agree as all we are doing is moving up & down & not achieving anything, after all these months and we no further forward.

We are still in Tier 3 so fingers crossed people here have listened and we will stay in 3

in Tier 4 and up to our necks in snow , Edinburgh looks great with a 3inch snow covering... NO LITTER SHOWING unless ( which I doubt ) the council has picked it up!!!

Here in Banbury, Oxfordshire, we are in tier four and I'm shielding again and pretty fed up. Did see family on Christmas day which was fabulous but now miss them so much. . Also, taking time to recover from recently surgery isn't helping. Had about six and half seconds of snow. Will get dressed up warm and go for a little walk shortly. Only able to go round the corner and back but it's a start.

I wish the government would listen to the experts and keep schools closed for starters.

Still Tier 2 in South West. Dodgy Tier 4 areas 25 and 40 miles away.

It is looking very grim reading today's headlines though. This new variant is determined to stay alive with the rapid spread.

Stay Safe and Well all.

Tier 2 where I am too but won’t be surprised if we’re all in lockdown again soon, or at least moved up tiers!

I am on the south coast. The way the numbers are increasing it won't surprise me if the whole country is put in tier 4.
