Sorry I can't help. If you put the word "pleurisy" into the "Search HealthUnlocked" box above it will bring up other posts on the subject. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi
I had this many years ago and was hospitalised for four days. I know how you feel. The good news is that it took about 3 weeks before I fully recovered - so, hopefully, you will start to feel ok very soon.
Good luck and stay safe.
Regards
Kevin
Sadly it is what it is. I have had numerous episodes of pleurisy and have learned that you cannot force a recovery. The more you push the longer it takes. I find rest and perhaps a gentle heat to the painful area best. It is a miserable condition and I hope matters improve quickly.
