Can someone tell me what this means.I recieved a text from dwp saying we have recieved the written report of your pip assessment we will write when we have made a decision on your pip.Dont understand this as i havent had an assessment yet. thanks

You could be lucky and they won't do the assessment, but you will find out all in good time.

Good luck with getting through to DWP if you phone but really just forget about it now and wait and see, perhaps just chase it up if you haven't heard in 3 months.

Thanks for your reply.I put my form in 4th august I have severe copd as i have never claimed pip before I wasnt sure how this works. thanks

times are different now with covid. Best wishes and hopefully you will be awarded without too much delay.

Do you get a letter when they are going to do a phone assessment.

Yes I got a letter with date and time. Then got phone call day before to check all ok for appointment next day.

yes you will, as Bevvy says. The phone call is to make sure you will be present to pick up the phone.

Hi thanks for your reply.I recieved a letter saying i was awarded mobility enhanced rate plus standard daily living so really happy with this.Do you no if i can claim universal credit as i had to give up my work due to my health.This is all new to me as i havent claimed benefits before. thanks

check .gov site and search universal credit, it should give all information there

Hi. I wouldn't worry it sounds as though they have assessed you from the forms you filled in and you don't have to have a face to face. Just sit back and wait for their letter to arrive. I sent mine off in early September and received the same text and a week later they wrote giving me full PIP for Daily Living and Mobility with a review in 10 years.
