Did anyone watch this programme. Surgeons at the edge of life. It was a Lady down at Adenbrookes. Having an operation to remove blood clots on her lungs. I just find these types of programmes very interesting. Just thought I would mention it. I hope your all keeping as well as possible. Brian

Hello. Yes I am doing ok Thanks. Just fed up of being inside so much. I went out yesterday for the 1st time in 2 weeks Since coming back from a short break down Eastbourne. I love these Operating programmes. Just as long as I am not on the table. I hope your both keeping well And not going mad. Brian

Pleased you’re doing ok and managed to get a break away. It’s not good being indoors but it’s nice to see the sun today.

We’re keeping well thank you but went mad long ago. Lol.

Three people contacted me to tell me it was on, as it is — literally — a subject very close to my heart. I was assessed for that operation by Papworth but they turned me down as they considered my chronic thromboembolic disease was “mild”. Hmm...

I haven’t watched it yet. I will on catch-up.

Fascinating stuff. Only done at Papworth. Jac Naylor did two at Holby City and had me jumping up and down to protest that it she wasn’t allowed to do it.

K xx
