Hi Darren, I was in similar situation a couple of years ago, I bought a used one from the BLF website: healthunlocked.com/blf/post... I bought an Inogen One G3 with a large battery for £1.500 with a warranty for nearly three years, it was only two months old, to buy the same machine would have cost £2.500, when i received the machine the seller simply contacted Intermedical Direct and they transferred the warranty to me.
If you want to buy a new machine, I would recommend: intermedicaldirect.co.uk/ , I have used them regularly for parts and servicing and they have given excellent service. When you buy from these it is VAT free for people with recognisable respiratory condition.
If you are on oxygen 15 hours a day, I take it you sleep using oxygen, if you do you need it at bedtime, you will need a continuous flow concentrator, you cannot use a pulse dose concentrator at bedtime, because they need to detect you pulse to work.
You can buy continuous flow portable oxygen concentrators, but they are much heavier and have to be wheeled on a trolly, they also have a much shorter battery life.
