My sister is a carer for my mom but also works but she dosent know what to do about work or if she will get paid if she dosent go in thankyou

She needs to discuss her options with her employer,if she feels she can not combine both roles then she needs to either gain sick leave either paid or unpaid ,the permutations are endless and if she is within a union they could also advise.

Should she feel she needs to leave her employment and become a full time carer she may be able to claim carers allowance from the government.it is almost impossible for anybody to give you a definitive answer to her dilemma.

Yes, I'm still a member of the union Unite, and that has lots of useful information about working and staying away from work to care for others, on its website.
