Trials are underway at the Brompton and Wythenshawe in Manchester ,i recently failed to meet the criteria for the trial and known complications mean that there needs to be a longer stay in hospital and the recovery rate after the procedure is much longer than standard bronchial valve insertion in relation to the gains received.no doubt several more trials will be held in the future once more technicians/consultants gain skills with the procedure and the results warrant it's introduction. :)
