Relief!

Christmas time has been and gone

I can't say that I'm sorry

Cos by the time it finished I felt

I'd been run over by a lorry.

I ate too much and drank too much

And pretended bonhomie

The only good thing about it was

Everything was free!

You are rhyming the way many of us actually feel Don. I'm just looking forward to lighter nights and Spring. Happy New year to you. Chrys.

I cannot disagree dear Don

Thank goodness it’s all done

My energies I’ve called upon

But they’ve left, no time for fun.

Happy new year xxx

Good morning to you Mr.D and I totally agree when you say your glad it's been and gone! Too much food & drink and now my waist is a couple of inches bigger lol😜.

you sound as though you had a nice Christmas 🎍 and I bet little Midge 🐕 had some extra treats too😁. Once New Year is upon us,we can say that it's all done ......

........until next year! 🎅💞

Too much booze

to make us merry,

is NOT the icing

on the cherry.

Leave the pudding

leave the roast,

just sit and chew

a piece of toast. :-O

I missed the fun not being in the loop

No festive feast just chicken soup

But for pudding we had food link complete

But my comments on that i better delete

Welcome back to beans on toast Master po. :) x

in reply to skischool

Laughest not at beans on toast

For we are not at odds

That together with fish and chips

Are definitely food of the Gods
