Decision made

Yesterday was at my sons partying.i got a phone call.

My mum has been ill all year,92, 1 infection after the other.needing constant care.

She had said she wanted to see myself ,my brother and sister asap.

She also wanted to see the minister also quickly.

So off we drove with son in tow.

I rang the minister, who was on his way home from a friends.

He arrived in 25 minutes complete with Christmas jumper.

I spoke to my mum, she’s had enough, doesn’t want to take any more pills sipsof water only.

The minister came ,read a psalm and a prayer,it seemed to calm her.

So now we wait . Whilst Iunderstand how she feels,it’s hard.

Yes,it was good that we were available and that the minister was coming back from his own break.

So her we were able to meet her wishes really quickly

A sad time but must be faced and your Mum sounds well prepared and peaceful. Having you all assembled in that way will have helped her no end. I wish her much peace.

Yesterday my much loved Midge spent the day with my nephew and his wife who will be her new owners if anything happens to me. I intend that she will do that often in future. It might sound a bit morbid, but being prepared isn't just for boy scouts.

That’s really thoughtful of you, making arrangements for Midges future.its really good her having away a days, I hope they spoilt her a little

How are you yourself? Thank you for your kind reply,it’s much appreciated.

Thank you for your concern.

She’s been ill all year in and out of hospital until we decided no more hospital.

I’m content that she was able to say what she wanted.

My mum isn’t the type to demand,so when shesaid she wanted to see us all we all Ran!

Luckily. I was able to get hold of the minister,so she got what she wanted quite fast.

TheGP has been.everythinginplace. I sat with her for a while this morning and my daughter visited.

So nothing more to be done.
